you will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"91\" data-end=\"1641\">\n<li data-start=\"91\" data-end=\"218\">\n<p data-start=\"93\" data-end=\"218\">Coordinate with bid teams, colleagues in the estimating department, the wider Pre-construction team, and ECI project teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"219\" data-end=\"426\">\n<p data-start=\"221\" data-end=\"426\">Manage and deliver cost estimates at various stages in scheme development, scope definition, and design maturity to meet challenging timescales, including multiple iterations of budget and target prices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"587\">\n<p data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"587\">Support the ECI project teams in preparing project budget costs, advising on value engineering and efficiencies, and producing the Construction Target Cost.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"840\">\n<p data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"840\">Contribute to optioneering and feasibility assessments, value engineering proposals, and liaise with bid and project teams representing a range of disciplines to develop and refine proposals and budget costs through to final target price estimates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"934\">\n<p data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"934\">Liaise with clients, designers, other consultants, quantity surveyors, and third parties.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"1023\">\n<p data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"1023\">Organise and administer tender documents, correspondence, enquiries, and quotations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1151\">\n<p data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1151\">Challenge and contribute to all aspects of bid preparation and submission, investigating safe and cost-effective solutions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1152\" data-end=\"1236\">\n<p data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1236\">Collect and distribute feedback and maintain awareness of the latest techniques.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1318\">\n<p data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1318\">Prepare cost estimates from first principles using Candy estimating software.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1387\">\n<p data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1387\">Organise and participate in bid preparation and review meetings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1468\">\n<p data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1468\">Prepare tender summary information and price risk and opportunity registers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1576\">\n<p data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1576\">Prepare and communicate estimate information for bid review meetings and for handover to project teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1641\">\n<p data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1641\">Comply with the Company and Group bid governance procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1742\">\n<p data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1742\">Degree, HND in Civil Engineering, or NVQ equivalent level.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"1841\">\n<p data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1841\">Suitable civil engineering project experience in management, engineering, or commercial roles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1901\">\n<p data-start=\"1844\" data-end=\"1901\">Proven estimating experience in civil engineering bids.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"2032\">\n<p data-start=\"1904\" data-end=\"2032\">Experience across a variety of work types and disciplines, with understanding of methods and typical production rates\/outputs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2033\" data-end=\"2092\">\n<p data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2092\">Demonstrable understanding of common forms of contract.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2093\" data-end=\"2191\">\n<p data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2191\">Strong leadership and
