projects, developing and maintaining productive working relationships.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"611\">Leading contract negotiations to achieve the best commercial outcomes and enhance project profitability.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"726\">Mentoring and developing teams, supporting colleagues to strengthen operational and commercial capability.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"846\">Demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively across teams and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"944\">Managing multiple deliverables simultaneously while maintaining high-quality performance.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"1036\">Supervising, guiding, and mentoring your direct reports within the commercial team.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1141\">Setting and controlling the commercial strategy for client interactions and contract management.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1302\">Maintaining commercial engagement with supply chain partners, leading pre-contract meetings, contract vetting, and input into subcontract documentation.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1303\" data-end=\"1411\">Managing subcontractor performance, including cost control, payments, and final account settlements.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1490\">Monitoring and reporting cost performance data accurately and on time.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1574\">Producing and presenting detailed monthly and quarterly commercial reports.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1669\">Preparing and submitting applications for payment in line with contractual provisions.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1670\" data-end=\"1761\">Providing commercial and contractual advice to project teams and senior management.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1762\" data-end=\"1866\">Managing and preparing financial assessments of insurance claims in collaboration with insurers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1871\" \/>\n<p><strong>Who Are We Looking For?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Necessary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2573\">\n<li data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2054\">Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to progress to the next level.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2055\" data-end=\"2157\">Demonstrated commercial acumen and core skills in cost management and contract administration.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2158\" data-end=\"2204\">Experience with NEC forms of contract.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2205\" data-end=\"2278\">Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior team members.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2385\">Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, project managers, and designers.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2386\" data-end=\"2478\">Confident working within a team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2479\" data-end=\"2573\">Relevant qualification \u2014 Degree or HNC\/D in Quantity Surveying or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantageous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2595\" data-end=\"2787\">\n<li data-start=\"2595\" data-end=\"2654\">Experience with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2655\" data-end=\"2698\">Knowledge of target cost contracts.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2699\" data-end=\"2787\">Professional membership or
