Your mission<\/strong>
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Managing diverse projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness, with an emphasis on adding value<\/li>\n
  • Collaborating in joint venture projects, building productive relationships<\/li>\n
  • Excelling in contract negotiation for optimized project profitability<\/li>\n
  • Mentoring teams and enhancing operational capabilities<\/li>\n
  • Showcasing exceptional collaboration and communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Excelling in multitasking to meet deliverables without compromising quality<\/li>\n
  • Managing, supervising, and mentoring your \u201creports\u201d within the commercial structure<\/li>\n
  • Providing and controlling strategy of commercial contacts with client\u2019s representatives<\/li>\n
  • Providing commercial contact with supply chain partners through pre-contract meetings, contract vetting, and input to subcontract documents<\/li>\n
  • Commercial management of subcontractors<\/li>\n
  • Monitoring the timely production of reliable cost performance data<\/li>\n
  • Producing and presenting monthly \/ quarterly reports<\/li>\n
  • Being responsible for the timely production of appropriate levels of applications for payments in accordance with the provisions of the conditions of contract<\/li>\n
  • Providing commercial advice to the site team and management on all contractual issues<\/li>\n
  • Producing the financial assessment of insurance claims with insurer\u2019s representatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Who are we looking for?<\/strong>Necessary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Successful experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or at Quantity Surveyor level looking to take the next step in your career, demonstrating effective core commercial skills<\/li>\n
    • Experience of NEC forms of contract<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrable ability to mentor and coach direct reports<\/li>\n
    • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the project team including the Client, Project Managers, and Designers<\/li>\n
    • Confidence and ability to work within a team environment, and to have a positive influence on outcomes<\/li>\n
    • Relevant qualification (Degree, HNC\/D)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Advantageous:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Early Contractor Involvement experience<\/li>\n
      • Experience of target cost contracts<\/li>\n
      • Relevant professional qualification (CICES\/RICS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
