{"id":8351,"date":"2025-12-22T00:31:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-31T12:47:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=8351"},"modified":"2026-01-21T11:09:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T10:09:37","slug":"bam-site-engineer-donegal-irlandia","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=8351","title":{"rendered":"Site Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"16\">Your mission<\/strong><br data-start=\"16\" data-end=\"19\" \/>As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"85\" data-end=\"1496\">\n<li data-start=\"85\" data-end=\"189\">Set out the works and ensure that foremen and operatives clearly understand the information provided<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"190\" data-end=\"341\">Review information from drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure foremen, operatives, and subcontractors understand requirements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"450\">Test materials as directed by your supervisor or line manager in accordance with relevant specifications<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"544\">Conduct quality reviews on site, particularly with regard to rebar and concrete placement<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"660\">Review technical submissions before upload to the design team, ensuring the correct areas of work are addressed<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"708\">Oversee concrete testing and review results<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"784\">Direct subcontractors where necessary regarding works to be carried out<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"824\">Prepare technical method statements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"912\">Manage and coordinate traffic on site, especially within busy city centre locations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"1002\">Record all daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in your site diary<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1129\">Proactively pursue your own development and training (including timely completion of the work-based development programme)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1198\">Conduct your work safely, and correct or report unsafe behaviour<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1282\">Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all site personnel<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1350\">Monitor and check setting out instruments and testing equipment<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1442\">Maximise profit through effective self-management, accuracy, and elimination of re-work<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1496\">Follow directions and attend meetings as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1525\">Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"2015\">\n<li data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"1574\">A third-level qualification in Engineering<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1659\">Proven experience in setting out or working as a Site Engineer in previous roles<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1660\" data-end=\"1760\">Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, surveying firm, or similar (preferred)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1841\">Experience managing traffic for a large-scale site in a city centre location<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1913\">Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1914\" data-end=\"1948\">Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1949\" data-end=\"2015\">Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2017\" data-end=\"2042\">What\u2019s in it for you?<\/strong><br data-start=\"2042\" data-end=\"2045\" \/>Opportunities!
