{"id":8353,"date":"2025-11-21T00:31:02","date_gmt":"2025-10-31T12:50:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=8353"},"modified":"2025-11-21T08:03:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T07:03:23","slug":"bam-quantity-surveyor-cork-irlandia","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=8353","title":{"rendered":"Quantity Surveyor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"16\">Your mission<\/strong><br data-start=\"16\" data-end=\"19\" \/>As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"89\" data-end=\"1364\">\n<li data-start=\"89\" data-end=\"184\">Prompt presentation of all applications for payment, including all contractual entitlements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"185\" data-end=\"258\">Ensuring that payments are received in accordance with contract terms<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"333\">Prompt submission of estimates and tendering information to the client<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"334\" data-end=\"431\">Timely presentation and negotiation of Final Accounts, including all contractual entitlements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"432\" data-end=\"520\">Preparation and presentation of weekly cost\/value information and delivery schedules<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"622\">Preparation and presentation of Monthly Cost\/Value Reconciliations and Final Cost\/Value Forecasts<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"696\">Preparation and presentation of forward work schedules and cash flows<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"697\" data-end=\"762\">Procurement, negotiation, and placement of subcontract orders<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"870\">Financial and commercial management of subcontractors through to the settlement of their Final Accounts<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"982\">Ensuring all contractual letters, notices, and information are presented in line with contract requirements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1074\">Preparation of supporting documentation for additional payments, variations, and claims<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1150\">Providing commercial support to the site and contracts management teams<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1224\">Supporting the Estimating and Procurement teams with commercial input<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1364\">Maintaining close liaison with the client on all commercial matters, including the preparation and submission of supporting information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1393\">Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"2078\">\n<li data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1448\">Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1554\">Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction or civil engineering projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1555\" data-end=\"1662\">Ability to work effectively on large-scale, high headcount construction sites and manage subcontractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1663\" data-end=\"1789\">Ability to liaise with the Construction Manager and client representatives, including attending site and progress meetings<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1790\" data-end=\"1842\">Strong time management and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1843\" data-end=\"1911\">Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"1988\">Strong understanding of the construction industry and on-site operations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2078\">Ability to use time productively, maximise efficiency, and meet challenging deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2080\" data-end=\"2105\">What\u2019s in it for you?<\/strong><br data-start=\"2105\" data-end=\"2108\" \/>Opportunities!
