Sometimes you&#8217;ll guide technicians remotely using smart glasses, and other times you&#8217;ll fly to the ship to solve complex issues. Your self-sufficiency, pro-active attitude and hands-on approach will be key in facing the challenges of our specialized equipment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content\"><strong>Your responsibilities as an electronic technician:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, prepare, and execute \u00a0installation activities on electrical and instrumentation systems, hydrographic, and nautical instruments. Ensure all systems are operational and contribute to optimal production processes.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose issues and follow up on the necessary work to ensure functionality and efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of completed work in relevant systems and logbooks.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of maintenance and repair policies and procedures for all electronic and E&amp;I systems onboard.<\/li>\n<li>Synchronize all operational and control systems onboard, including power electronics and PLC technology, and ensure compliance with international standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"content\"><strong>Your qualities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holds a Mechatronics qualification MBO Level 4\/ HBO level, or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in technical, maritime, electronics, or mechatronics environments, and familiarity with hydrographic, surveying, positioning equipment, and instrumentation is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of operational processes related to assigned equipment, including electronic circuits and data transfer protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and average skills in ICT Office applications and fleet management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a service engineer in ship electronics and instrumentation is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content toggle-height-content\" data-component=\"ContentToggle\" data-settings=\"{&quot;toggleHeight&quot;: &quot;number&quot;}\" data-settings-data=\"{&quot;toggleHeight&quot;: &quot;210&quot;}\" data-component-settings=\"{&quot;toggle-height&quot;: &quot;toggleHeight&quot;}\" data-toggle-height=\"210\" data-initialized=\"true\">\n<div class=\"content-grid\">\n<p class=\"section-title\"><strong>We offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"content\">\n<p><strong>What you can expect<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A dynamic environment:\u00a0A job that allows you to collaborate with a talented team of experts from different backgrounds and contribute to making a significant impact.<\/li>\n<li>Rewarding conditions: A competitive salary and much more, including holiday allowance, holiday entitlement of 31 days (based on a full-time contract) and a number of collective scheduled days off, a non-contributory pension scheme, collective schemes such as company health insurance and travel allowance.<\/li>\n<li>Career development:\u00a0We offer you plenty of opportunities to bring out the best in yourself for example through (online) courses at our Boskalis academy.<\/li>\n<li>The Boskalis campus:\u00a0Experience the unique Boskalis vibe at our Papendrecht site, complete with restaurants, sports field, and a wharf where our vessels dock.
