Working with <strong>Project Engineers and Managers, an Intern Mechanical Engineer<\/strong> role contributes to the design, development and support of the mechanical aspects of <strong>Low Force products.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Tasks &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to mechanical engineering design of Low Force products.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of BOM, design schemes and proposals<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for detail design and for drawing set update<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to drawing office standards and design standards.<\/li>\n<li>Apply theoretical design studies to development decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist as necessary in the procurement of components and liaison with vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Some hands on experience in the Engineering laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting Engineers in the running of tests and recording of test data.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a log book to record the work undertaken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies (includes skills)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to carry out design and detail functions using CAD ( preferably Solid Edge)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to do basic engineering calculations to substantiate design solutions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well within a cross-functional cross-cultural team structure<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under time pressure and manage own time to meet project timescales<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate studying towards a degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g. MEng, BEng).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is an opportunity for an individual currently studying Mechanical Engineering or combined study programme at an undergraduate level to join us for an internship based in our High Wycombe&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_company_name":"ITW Automotive","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[35,145],"job-types":[6],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-8540","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-energetyka","6":"job_listing_category-inne","7":"job_listing_type-staz","9":"job-type-staz"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
