This position will be\u00a0<strong>site-based in Espoo, Finland<\/strong>, and will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating all site logistics and material movement to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of works.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the\u00a0<strong>site compound<\/strong>\u00a0and all designated storage areas to maximise efficiency and safety.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the\u00a0<strong>booking and coordination of material deliveries<\/strong>\u00a0to and from the site.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of\u00a0<strong>delivery schedules, storage locations, and access routes<\/strong>\u00a0from off-site facilities to the project site.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong\u00a0<strong>organisational control<\/strong>\u00a0of site deliveries to ensure materials arrive in a structured and orderly manner.<\/li>\n<li>Attend\u00a0<strong>pre-start meetings<\/strong>\u00a0with subcontractors to communicate site logistics procedures, storage limitations, and delivery booking requirements via the\u00a0<strong>Datascope system<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and monitor\u00a0<strong>traffic movement<\/strong>\u00a0across the site, ensuring safe and efficient flow of vehicles and deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Promote a\u00a0<strong>\u201cjust-in-time\u201d delivery approach<\/strong>\u00a0with all subcontractors to reduce congestion and optimise site operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all\u00a0<strong>loading and unloading<\/strong>\u00a0activities are carried out within the designated compound to prevent disruption or blockage of site roads.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and supervise\u00a0<strong>logistics operatives<\/strong>, ensuring adherence to site safety standards, work ethics, and project requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of\u00a0<strong>labour allocation, delivery tracking, and work progress reports<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"styles--3vx-H\" aria-labelledby=\"job-requirements-title\" data-ui=\"job-requirements\">\n<p id=\"job-requirements-title\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>3rd level qualification in an\u00a0<strong>engineering or construction-related discipline<\/strong>\u00a0is desirable; however, a\u00a0<strong>strong trades background<\/strong>\u00a0with 3+ years\u2019 experience in a similar role will also be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally, 2+ years\u2019 experience in a\u00a0<strong>logistics or materials management role<\/strong>\u00a0on large-scale construction projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong, proven\u00a0<strong>leadership skills<\/strong>\u00a0with experience in\u00a0<strong>managing teams<\/strong>\u00a0of operatives and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth practical knowledge of\u00a0<strong>load management, storage allocation, subcontractor coordination<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>on-site materials handling<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent\u00a0<strong>organisational and communication skills<\/strong>, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and execute tasks efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with\u00a0<strong>Datascope<\/strong>\u00a0or similar logistics and delivery management systems is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>A strong commitment to maintaining\u00a0<strong>health, safety, and environmental standards<\/strong>\u00a0on site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"styles--3vx-H\" aria-labelledby=\"job-benefits-title\" data-ui=\"job-benefits\">\n<p id=\"job-benefits-title\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with a market leader in the Data centre Construction industry<\/li>\n<li>Be part of a forward-thinking team delivering critical infrastructure in a high-growth sector<\/li>\n<li>Long-term career progression opportunities and professional development support.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive salary packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a\u00a0Logistics Manager\u00a0to join our team, reporting into the\u00a0Project Director.
