{"id":8726,"date":"2025-12-03T00:31:52","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T10:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=8726"},"modified":"2025-12-03T11:51:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T10:51:26","slug":"ge-vernova-lead-sourcing-specialist-stafford-wielka-brytania","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=8726","title":{"rendered":"Lead Sourcing Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the exponential growth we\u2019re experiencing within the Power markets and our business, we\u2019re recruiting for an experienced Commodity Manager who will manage a defined set of commodities for the <strong>GE GSI (Grid Systems Integration) Product Delivery Group (PDG) in Stafford.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"emphasis-3\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountable for developing, leading and implementing commodity strategies to deliver on safety, quality, delivery and landed\/lifecycle cost for the assigned commodities.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate supplier Contracts and Pricing, and transmit to Procurement teams.<\/li>\n<li>Build and strengthen supplier relationships<\/li>\n<li>Provide Supplier insights, benchmarking and market analysis activities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to stakeholders regarding Quality, Cost and Delivery of commodity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties include, but are not limited to :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage sourcing strategy in line with GE existing global sourcing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure delivered products meet quality &amp; on time delivery standards including being a point of escalation for supplier issues.<\/li>\n<li>Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools, processes, and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Generate cost reduction and cash management actions.<\/li>\n<li>Secure Supply Chain through Sourcing actions.<\/li>\n<li>Benchmark &amp; challenge current supplier portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Manage KPIs reporting and consolidation within the whole local sourcing group.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced collaboration with GE Key Commodity Leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Tendering activities to ensure accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate action plan when Quality or Logistics issues with suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"emphasis-3\">Desired Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university or college with Sourcing \/ Supply chain education preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced commodity manager, advanced experience and demonstrated years in Sourcing &amp; Commodity management.<\/li>\n<li>English spoken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"emphasis-3\">Desired Characteristics<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Sourcing \/ Supply Chain Management preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Previous Sourcing experience essential.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of purchasing practices, principles, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse and present statistical data.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of MS Office applications, including some knowledge of intermediate level Excel functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to balance multiple tasks in a challenging, fast paced work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated team player with a strong initiative to win.<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivated self-starter.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated professional oral \/ written communication and negation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Significant project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SAP ERP system.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RFQ implementation and execution.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel worldwide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the exponential growth we\u2019re experiencing within the Power markets and our business, we\u2019re recruiting for an experienced Commodity Manager who will manage a defined set of commodities for&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_company_name":"GE Vernova","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[35,586],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-8726","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-expired","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-energetyka","6":"job_listing_category-sieci-przesylowe","7":"job_listing_type-umowa-o-prace","8":"job-level-specjalista","10":"job-type-umowa-o-prace"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
