Here is what you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Technical Leadership & Renewable Electrical Design<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    • Lead the electrical design of utility-scale solar PV and hybrid renewable systems, including MV distribution up to 66kV.<\/li>\n
    • Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable routing, inverter station layouts, substation and switchyard designs.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure designs comply with IEC, IEEE, ENA, DNO\/TSO requirements, and national grid connection codes.<\/li>\n
    • Define and implement technical design strategies that meet safety, efficiency, and sustainability objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      1. Solar & Battery Systems Expertise<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        • Design and integrate solar PV arrays, inverters, transformers, RMUs, and BESS systems into existing grid networks.<\/li>\n
        • Evaluate and optimize PV yield, losses, and equipment selection using simulation tools (PVsyst, ETAP, etc.).<\/li>\n
        • Develop protection and grounding systems, ensuring safe operation and arc flash mitigation.<\/li>\n
        • Advise clients on renewable connection strategies, grid code compliance, and interconnection requirements.<\/li>\n
        • Lead coordination meetings, ensure clash-free models, and promote integration with civil and structural teams.<\/li>\n
        • Support digital workflows using CDE platforms (BIM 360, ACC, Aconex) and model-based collaboration for efficient project delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          1. Project & Client Management<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            • Act as the technical lead for electrical engineering scopes on large renewable projects.<\/li>\n
            • Coordinate with developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and independent engineers during project development and execution.<\/li>\n
            • Support project managers in budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and design deliverable management.<\/li>\n
            • Prepare technical documentation, feasibility reports, and participate in client design reviews.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              1. Construction & Commissioning Support<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                  \n
                • Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning stages.<\/li>\n
                • Review contractor documentation, respond to RFIs, and verify electrical installations and testing procedures.<\/li>\n
                • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their knowledge of renewable design and installation practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  Required:<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).<\/li>\n
                  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design for renewable energy or utility-scale power projects.<\/li>\n
                  • Proven track record in solar PV, MV distribution, substations, and grid connection design.<\/li>\n
                  • Hands-on understanding of utility standards, protection schemes, grounding, and electrical safety regulations.<\/li>\n
                  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design tools, and BIM workflows.<\/li>\n
                  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage multidisciplinary coordination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Preferred:<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • Experience with PVsyst, ETAP, DigSILENT PowerFactory, or similar analysis tools.<\/li>\n
                    • Field experience in solar\/BESS installation, commissioning, or operations.<\/li>\n
                    • Exposure to energy storage systems, hybrid microgrids, and HV grid interconnections.<\/li>\n
                    • Familiarity with international renewable standards (IEC, ENA, G99\/G100) and interconnection processes.<\/li>\n
