It\u2019s a young, energetic, and collaborative environment where autonomy, curiosity, and experimentation are encouraged and where your work with state-of-the-art technologies will have a visible impact on how our factories operate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the\u00a0<strong>integration of PLC, SCADA, MES, historian, and IoT systems<\/strong>\u00a0into a unified, reliable, and secure architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement automation solutions and communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP\/IP, Profinet).<\/li>\n<li>Retrofit and connect legacy equipment to digital platforms using IoT gateways, sensors, and data interfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with\u00a0<strong>production, IT, and Smart Factory teams<\/strong>\u00a0to deliver end-to-end data connectivity and visibility.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with\u00a0<strong>OT network architecture, cybersecurity<\/strong>, and documentation standards.<\/li>\n<li>Translate automation diagrams, electrical schematics, and process requirements into functional integration logic.<\/li>\n<li>Support MES and historian (e.g., AVEVA PI, Ignition, Kepware) rollout and validation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in cross-site projects and share best practices to scale solutions across global NOV sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or similar.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or OT system integration.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens S7\/TIA Portal, WinCC, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, or similar).<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP\/IP, Profinet).<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience integrating automation systems with MES, historian, or SCADA platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of OT network architecture and cybersecurity fundamentals.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English communication skills with strong documentation discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, or Digital Manufacturing.<\/li>\n<li>Experience retrofitting legacy machines with sensors or IoT gateways.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of AVEVA PI, Ignition, Kepware, Simatic IT, or other MES systems.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with AI or computer vision applications in quality monitoring or anomaly detection.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in cross-functional digitalization projects with IT, QA, and production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Join NOV\u2019s Smart Factory program and help transform our flexible pipe manufacturing sites into fully connected, data-driven operations.
