The successful candidate will have suitable experience of developing and managing complex project schedules through the construction lifecycle<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will require a minimum of 6-10 years\u2019 experience in Project Scheduling of complex projects from design through to construction and commissioning. \u00a0A third level degree is preferable, in a scientific or engineering field. Construction site experience, with Last Planner methodology is also an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding and experience of project co-ordination &amp; management through the full project lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The role will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for development and management of detailed schedules to cover the Construction stage of projects<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for development and management of project controls tools<\/li>\n<li>Critical Path development &amp; analysis<\/li>\n<li>Lead \/ Host Interactive Planning Workshops<\/li>\n<li>Engage and support the project team from early stages<\/li>\n<li>Provides performance updates \/ reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Identification of project milestones, monitor &amp; report on same<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports<\/li>\n<li>Establish project schedule resource requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.<\/li>\n<li>Provide valued input to Constructability Reviews<\/li>\n<li>Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client<\/li>\n<li>Establishing project objectives in line with the client and help to ensure goals &amp; timelines are achieved<\/li>\n<li>Execution of projects via an established Quality Management system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The required qualifications and attributes are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6-10 years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>Expert in Primavera P6 software<\/li>\n<li>Experience in scheduling the construction phase of a project<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of design and construction sequence and logic<\/li>\n<li>Pharmaceutical experience required<\/li>\n<li>Experience in using and understanding earned value progress required<\/li>\n<li>Experience in all phases of home office engineering required<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills required<\/li>\n<li>Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or other allied third level qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We now wish to recruit a Senior Construction Scheduler for a large Pharmaceutical project in West Dublin.
