{"id":9599,"date":"2025-12-31T00:30:23","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T07:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=9599"},"modified":"2026-02-02T10:40:51","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T09:40:51","slug":"siemens-energy-global-gmbh-co-kg-material-and-special-process-specialist","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=9599","title":{"rendered":"Material and Special Process Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a specialist in our Materials group you will be entrusted to provide materials and special processes guidance on a wide variety of engineering projects based on your knowledge, both to support new component manufacture and to support repair operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How You\u2019ll Make an Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical input into the selection of materials, special processes and suppliers to meet the business needs<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve component definitions, design alteration requests, repair methods and non -conformance reports<\/li>\n<li>Approve methods of manufacture and related documentation to ensure that the finished components will satisfy the design intent<\/li>\n<li>Assist with root cause investigation activities<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the suitability of material design data to specific applications<\/li>\n<li>Propose alternative specifications to support progressive industrialization of our products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in Materials Engineering or a closely related field<\/li>\n<li>Member or eligible to become member of the &#8220;l&#8217;Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in materials functions, including special processes such as:<\/li>\n<li>heat treatment, brazing, welding, and coatings<\/li>\n<li>Experience in gas turbine materials and special process application (desirable)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in material melting practices, casting, forging, turbine blade manufacture, and bearing manufacture (desirable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a specialist in our Materials group you will be entrusted to provide materials and special processes guidance on a wide variety of engineering projects based on your knowledge, both&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_company_name":"Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co.
