Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle \u2013 from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we\u2019re helping to deliver the energy transition globally.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview of the role<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Energy Transition team within our Energy unit is looking for multiple Project Managers to run our major multidisciplinary FEED and Detailed Design projects in this growing portfolio, supporting Clients in the UK and across Europe as part of the energy transition. As well as contributing to these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project management processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully lead the delivery of multi-disciplinary design projects including civils, process, electrical, mechanical protection and control and secondary design disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver Project Management for complex Energy projects such as OCGT and CCGT projects at feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases<\/li>\n<li>Delivering project scope to time quality and cost<\/li>\n<li>Building and managing strong relationships with senior client representatives as well as internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Establishing effective communications across the whole project delivery team<\/li>\n<li>Taking the lead on problem solving and decision making<\/li>\n<li>Controlling internal and external commercial aspects of the project under the contract arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Managing risk to the business and to the client<\/li>\n<li>Work effectively on several projects concurrently to deliver to tight deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven success in the delivery of Energy sector design projects working for a designer, a contractor, or major industry client within the energy sector<\/li>\n<li>Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams<\/li>\n<li>Experience in contract administration<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in approaches to change management, risk management, schedule and cost management, along with all other aspects of project management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make complex decisions, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to, accepting responsibility for own actions<\/li>\n<li>Creates a work environment which promotes health, safety, and wellbeing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This role will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in a highly supportive and collaborative environment across the Energy sector and provide exposure to some exciting energy transition projects that will protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions There will be a specific emphasis on supporting and growing our project management capabilities and on developing initiatives to improve our service delivery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant engineering or management degree or relevant successful experience in project management of energy sector projects<\/li>\n<li>Proven delivery of multidisciplinary design projects<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative skills: the job of Project Manager requires that they work with cross-functional teams potentially located in different countries, so it is vital that they can work with people from various backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience within the Energy sector<\/li>\n<li>Experience across all stages of the project lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Relevant PM qualifications (eg PMQ, PMP, Prince 2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8598\" src=\"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka.png 1920w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-300x47.png 300w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-1024x160.png 1024w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-768x120.png 768w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-1536x240.png 1536w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-1200x188.png 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across several sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission &amp; distribution networks.
