Due to recent project wins and continued growth of our business, we are recruiting a C&amp;I Engineer to join our Nuclear: Defence and Civil team. The work will involve supporting the production of C&amp;I designs in line with project requirements, as well as working closely with other disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the execution of control and instrumentation work on projects, in accordance with C&amp;I design instructions and company\/project procedures<\/li>\n<li>Work to agreed standards on safety and quality, man-hour plans, cost budgets, and project schedule targets<\/li>\n<li>Assist in identifying and planning C&amp;I scopes of work<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to project planning and execution activities<\/li>\n<li>Prepare design deliverables such as drawings, calculations, and specifications to the required quality<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other engineering disciplines and clients as required<\/li>\n<li>Ensure solutions comply with discipline-related legal requirements, including CDM, safety (including application of the EDSPS), environmental and site licence conditions<\/li>\n<li>Apply relevant legislation, client and project-specific policies, procedures, and design standards in day-to-day work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified in electrical engineering or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Working towards professional registration with a relevant engineering institution (IEng\/CEng)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of control and instrumentation engineering, including:<\/li>\n<li>Design basis to P&amp;ID development<\/li>\n<li>Systems architecture drawings<\/li>\n<li>Cable selection, routing, and management drawings<\/li>\n<li>Field instrumentation selection<\/li>\n<li>Control and safety systems<\/li>\n<li>Control and Instrumentation cabinet design<\/li>\n<li>Instrumentation loop drawings and hook-up diagrams<\/li>\n<li>Compiling Instrument Data Sheets<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prepare technical reports and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Keen to develop knowledge of the latest advances in control and instrumentation technology (fieldbus, wireless systems, safety PLCs)<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of relevant standards and CDM legislation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver accurate documentation to the required standard and schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8598\" src=\"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka.png 1920w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-300x47.png 300w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-1024x160.png 1024w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-768x120.png 768w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-1536x240.png 1536w, https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/mmStopka-1200x188.png 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Energy unit delivers projects to a wide range of clients across the defence, existing and nuclear new build industry.
