We are seeking an MEP Estimator \/ Quantity Surveyor to work with our Estimating Department across all regions in the preparation of estimates and successful project execution. This is a technical role involving cost estimation, tender preparation, and pre-construction support for MEP Systems across various sectors including Industrial, Pharmaceutical, DC, Commercial, Residential and Public.<\/p>\n
Key Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying<\/p>\n<\/li>\n 3 \u2013 5 years in a similar role<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Good working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical work packages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Experience working on large scale data centres will be an advantage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Reporting to the Estimating Director and working with other Pre-Construction Departments as necessary, your key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for MEP Systems on major projects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Review client specifications, drawings, and tender documentation to produce competitive bids<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to ensure constructability and feasibility<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Identify risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for value engineering<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Support pre-construction planning and tender presentations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintain detailed documentation of all estimating processes, assumptions, and calculations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and relevant regulations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Advising on procurement strategy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are seeking an MEP Estimator \/ Quantity Surveyor to work with our Estimating Department across all regions in the preparation of estimates and successful project execution.
