By consistently modelling safe behaviour, prioritising safety above productivity, and ensuring that all workers receive proper training and resources, you can foster an environment where safety is ingrained in every aspect of the construction process. Encouraging open communication, recognising and rewarding safe behaviour, and conducting regular inspections further reinforce the importance of safety.<\/p>\n<p>By taking these steps, you can help create a culture where safety is a shared value and a top priority for all stakeholders involved in the project.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1202\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will report directly to the Health and Safety Manager. The key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"2120\">\n<li data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1425\">Regularly review and update Company Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safety Statements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1548\">Complete Safety Induction Training for all new employees and sub-contractors, maintaining documentary evidence of same<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1690\">Investigate, record, and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses promptly, ensuring corrective actions are implemented without delay<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1755\">Provide relevant accident information for insurance purposes<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"1888\">Identify new and ongoing safety-related training requirements, ensuring all mandatory training is reviewed and delivered on time<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1889\" data-end=\"1958\">Ensure correct PPE is used at all times by all relevant employees<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1959\" data-end=\"2008\">Enforce Health and Safety Department policies<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2009\" data-end=\"2076\">Review sub-contractors\u2019 Safety Statements and safety compliance<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2120\">Attend regular Health &amp;
