We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. This role within the business is integral to ensuring that all our construction activities comply with relevant EU regulations, national building codes, and project specifications in accordance with legal and contractual obligations.<\/p>\n
The Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Manager will lead quality excellence and continuous improvement across our business.<\/p>\n
Based in Sweden, the role will require travel across Europe as necessary to discharge the role.<\/p>\n
As a member of the project management team, you have the opportunity to influence safety culture onsite by demonstrating personal commitment, setting clear expectations, and effectively communicating safety policies. Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n Bachelor\u2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Minimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in construction project design, engineering, and management, ideally including a previous quality role within the construction industry in Europe<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Formal training in Quality and\/or related disciplines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Advanced knowledge of quality management systems<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Proven record of implementing continuous improvement processes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Strong understanding of EU regulatory frameworks, industry standards, construction project execution, and technical design and engineering matters<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is desirable but not essential<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Excellent communication and leadership skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Strong analytical and critical thinking skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Proficiency in audit and training facilitation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Develop and Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)<\/strong><\/p>\n Design, implement, and manage quality assurance policies and procedures within a QMS aligned to ISO 9001 standards, EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR), industry standards, and applicable EN technical standards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintain a comprehensive library of quality assurance policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, best-practice quality control plans (including Inspection and Testing Plans), exemplar quality management templates, training materials, and guidance documents<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Ensure Statutory and Regulatory Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n Monitor adherence to EU Directives and local legislation, including building regulations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Project Quality Oversight<\/strong><\/p>\n Collaborate with the project delivery team to oversee construction quality throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through to final inspection and handover<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Document Control and Compliance Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n Maintain all quality assurance documentation to support compliance, including Inspection Test Plans, Method Statements, Material Approvals, CE Marking evidence, and subcontractor compliance data<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Auditing and Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n Assess quality performance through inspections at various stages of construction and identify areas for improvement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Propose and implement approved corrective and preventive actions to address recurring issues<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Lead internal and external audits across the business to ensure compliance with the QMS, relevant industry standards, and ISO 9001<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Training and Awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure all staff understand and apply Collen standard best practices in quality assurance and compliance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Provide expert advice, guidance, and coaching to project teams in relation to quality assurance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Continuous Improvement<\/strong><\/p>\n Promote continuous improvement in construction quality through initiatives that support a culture of quality excellence and continual enhancement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Stakeholder Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, and supply chain partners to align quality expectations and compliance obligations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team.
