You are responsible for supporting sales and execution in contract and risks management and ensuring consistent management of all proposals and contracts. Define and deploy the best practices and guidelines to ensure consistent and complete preparation of global risk reviews. Oversight of the contract management process, bidding submission, contract negotiations and document management as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible jointly with the Sales Responsible to develop project specific contractual strategies, risk assessments and corresponding cost provision considerations. Work with the sales and account management team on Frame Agreements.
• Overviews the legal function in reviewing and commenting on the contractual tender terms and conditions and corresponding update of the Risk Review database. Actively participates in Risk Review preparation and meetings.
• Support the continuous improvement of the contract and risk management process and other improvements (e.g. rev split agreement, etc.) within the Global Business Line. Develop and maintain contract and risk management training program and contribute to regular Sales Operations Handbook updates.
• Support the handover of all relevant contract and risk management aspects from tendering to execution stage.
• Participate in project reviews to identify contract and risk management aspects to be addressed and support definition of corresponding mitigation strategies upon request (e.g. notifications, claims, variation orders, etc.). Participate in lessons learned exercises to assess and outline the contract and risk management related improvement areas and to divulgate the improvement actions within the organization.
• Support Legal function in handling formal dispute resolution (mediation, litigation or arbitration) as required.
• Maintain overview and track all ongoing significant contractual issues and communicate with business partners and management on an ongoing basis.
• Be the first point of contact and act as interface between business and corresponding Group or Corporate function to address project related commercial, tax and insurance topics.
• Be the first point of contact and act as interface between Integrity functions to address project related integrity

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in contractual terms, frame agreements, and global risk review policies, with the ability to assess and mitigate contractual and operational risks.
• Solid understanding of project management, project execution models, and financial implications (FCM) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, legal frameworks, and the application of both Common and Civil Law in commercial contexts.
• Skilled in negotiation and claim management, ensuring effective resolution of commercial issues and protection of business interests.
• Knowledge of business strategy, sales processes, account management practices, and engineering project sales channels.
• Familiarity with relevant product portfolios and the capability to translate technical offerings into commercially sound contract structures.
