We’re building something exciting in Kraków — a new Integrated Delivery Solutions team (IDS) focused on delivering world-class Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CS&A) engineering solutions. We’re looking for passionate Civil Engineers. This is your chance to work on some of the world’s most exciting nuclear and energy projects; from Small and Advanced Modular Reactor technologies to renewable energy and high-energy industrial projects.We know that great candidates come with a variety of backgrounds and strengths. Key responsibilities could include:

• Support the analysis, design and construction preparation activities relating to structures and civil engineering features within nuclear and energy projects.
• Support requirements capture and a Systems Engineering approach.
• Contribute across the project lifecycle from bid generation, through concept and detailed design development to construction.
• Preparation of safety case inputs, such as Safety Functional Requirements (SFRs), Structural Design Method Statements (SDMSs) and Design Substantiation Reports (DSR).
• Preparation of Interpretive Reports, Basis of Design, Finite Element Modelling and Analyses, Calculations, CDM documentation, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, and Technical Reports
• Assist in the preparation of design safety documentation and compliance with nuclear safety standards
• Contribute to problem-solving, technical investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Produce high-quality technical reports.
• Build and maintain valuable relationships with peers, partners and clients.

Requirements

• MEng, MSc, BEng or BSc or equivalent in civil engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant professional body (we will support you).
• Knowledge or civil engineering principles, design tools and relevant guidelines, standards and practices.
• Experience using finite element modelling software and associated post processing software, with experience in validation and verification of modelling tools and their outputs.
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and good practice.
• Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
• Motivated team member with the ability to work to deadlines and communicate project progress.
• Good communication skills and ability to articulate information to a broad range of stakeholders.
• Committed to Continuous Professional Development.
• Awareness of civil engineering principles from highly regulated industries will be an advantage.
