Warehouse Specialist

The position was created to support the ever-increasing needs of the Warehouse and Distribution department. The candidate will be asked to perform an array of functions that include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, managing, organizing in our systems stock in the warehouse. The role requires a sharp-witted and multitasking person that will be able to increase the efficiency of the department and answer to work-related issues. Primary goal is to ensure the smooth function of all warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

Incoming Stock

• Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
• Trace, track and expedite purchase processes
• Occasionally create and maintain contact with vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment
• Review invoicing documentation to verify its accuracy and ensure it is current.

Managing & Organizing

• Ensure accuracy of all inventories
• Review invoices and purchase orders
• Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
• Organize files both manually and electronically
• Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items

Monitoring & Control

• Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries
• Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items
• Pro-active and reactive approach to understanding import/export regulations
• Finding logistical solutions related to sourcing or shipping
• Ensure the correct product information is appropriately presented on the ERP
• Monitor and liaise with colleagues to ensure everything required for products dispatch is completed

QHSE

• Compliance with security procedures and health & safety policies

Other

• Liaising with manufacturers, distributors/forwarders, agents,
• Accountable for monitoring and maintaining records of company equipment onboard vessels for customs compliance.
