As BIM Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary and diverse team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driving the BIM narrative, exploring innovative approaches to deliver efficiencies and value across the project team.
• Working alongside the Project Information Manager to produce, manage, and control the Project BIM Brief, programme, and deliverables.
• Leading and managing model coordination and validation across the project team and subcontractors.
• Demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of model authoring and checking tools, including Revit, AutoCAD, Solibri, ProjectWise, and Synchro.
• Bringing knowledge of site data capture systems and delivery tools — experience with Datascope is an advantage.
• Managing task teams within a complex project environment; experience within a MOD or secure facility is beneficial.
• Understanding and managing Security Access Levels (SALs) and NDAs to ensure secure information handling, processing, and transmission.
• Implementing and promoting compliance with ISO 19650 Parts 1–5.
• Demonstrating proven success in supporting the design, construction, and commissioning of major projects and infrastructure.

What Do You Bring to the Role?

• Monitoring completion of BIM Gateway forms throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with assurance and capability assessments.
• Supporting digital and project teams to maximise the value of key design and authoring software and streamline delivery into federated models.
• Managing design risk through federation tools and clash detection reviews.
• Seeking and promoting innovative digital technologies that enhance project outcomes.
• Applying lean methodologies to identify efficient project solutions.
• Authorising the information model for sharing and managing CDE workflows.
• Delivering training and mentoring in digital construction and information management to internal teams and the wider supply chain.
• Overseeing and reviewing the work of digital production teams (including specialists and modellers).
• Supporting design teams in developing accurate 3D models that comply with client and project standards.
• Managing the development of project information aligned with contract requirements and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Identifying and communicating hardware and software needs in collaboration with the Project Information Manager.
• Ensuring all stakeholders use the Common Data Environment (CDE) in accordance with the BEP.
• Capturing and sharing best practices, workflows, and lessons learned to continuously improve processes.
• Promoting and maintaining high safety and environmental standards, reporting any issues through the proper project channels.
