Your mission Timely procurement and commercial management of subcontract and supply chain, including:
Ensuring subcontractor and supply chain compliance and competency with both business and specific project requirements prior to issuing any tender enquiry.
Agreement of specific work package scope of works and preparation of all relevant documentation for formal subcontract and supply chain enquiries and procurement.
Conducting procurement negotiations, including agreement of subcontract and supply chain terms and conditions.
Analysis and reconciliation of returned tenders and preparation of final subcontract recommendations.
Producing and issuing robust and relevant subcontract and supply chain order documentation in a timely manner.
Maintaining commercial responsibility throughout the project on all matters relating to MEPH subcontract work packages, relevant supply chain matters, and material orders.
Project delivery
Work closely and collaboratively with the Project Manager and the wider team to ensure the successful delivery and financial outcome of the project.
Participate in the development of design and procurement strategies to maximise opportunities and minimise or mitigate risks.
Identify key project risks and opportunities and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
Produce Monthly and Quarterly Cost Reports, including project margin projections and cashflow forecasts.
Ensure compliance with business requirements and best practice procedures.
Prepare monthly valuations and agree these with client representatives.
Measure, value, and negotiate client variations.
Prepare and negotiate project final accounts.
Foster and maintain professional relationships at all times with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
Who are we looking for?
Preferably qualified at HND or degree level, or working towards MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
Possess the depth of experience and competencies required for the role.
