Making Possible As Project Director, you will be responsible for the following:
Leading a team of approximately 600 people.
Overseeing teams delivering Civil Engineering, Building Services, and Marine works within a regulated environment.
Developing strategies to identify and secure further scope within the framework, in addition to delivering existing work.
Reporting to the Joint Venture Board, leading a framework with significant turnover across multiple bespoke contracts.
Managing contracts at varying stages of maturity, including Pre-Construction, Negotiation, Delivery, Close-Out, and Final Account.
Managing the Joint Venture agreement between two leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractors, with full accountability to the JV Board for Safety, Commercial, Financial, and Operational performance.
Raising the bar in health, safety, and wellbeing leadership, pioneering innovation, and striving for best-in-class practices.
Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with the customer to grow the pipeline of work and long-term opportunities.
Ensuring the overall success of the programme by administering contractual and scope requirements and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
Overseeing supply chain performance and maintaining high quality management standards in a highly regulated and unique environment.
Providing strategic direction and support to teams to ensure performance is predictable, well planned, well resourced, and successful.
What do you bring to the role?
Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience and success at a senior leadership level.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate successes and challenges, negotiate contract terms, and build relationships with customers at Executive level.
Inspirational leadership qualities, able to motivate teams and create high-performing environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex, high-value projects across multiple disciplines.
Detailed working knowledge of the construction environment and NEC forms of contract.
