Your Mission

• Conduct your work in a safe manner — take responsibility to ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure work is executed to the highest quality standards and that BAM’s quality control procedures and project-specific requirements are implemented.
• Ensure setting-out information is accurate, relevant, and clearly communicated on site.
• Ensure that foremen and operatives fully understand the technical information provided.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Review detailed design drawings, provide constructive feedback, and liaise with designers to ensure sufficient design information is available for construction.
• Coordinate the development of design information from designers’ details through to approved workshop drawings and subcontractor technical submissions.
• Read and interpret drawings for layouts, materials, and measurements.
• Manage subcontractors and the general workforce on site to ensure quality and progress.
• Plan works efficiently to achieve project programme targets.
• Oversee the ordering and control of materials on site.
• Maintain detailed site records, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and technical discussions.
• Maximise project profitability through effective self-management, accuracy in delivery, elimination of re-work, and strong contractual awareness.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team, following direction and attending meetings as required.

Who We’re Looking For

• A third-level degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer.
• Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, or surveying firm (preferred).
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related software.
• A proactive, driven professional with a strong desire to deliver excellence and progress, backed by solid technical and construction knowledge.
