Your Mission

• Set out the works and ensure that foremen and operatives clearly understand the information provided.
• Disseminate information from drawings, specifications, and related documents to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors to ensure clarity of requirements.
• Test materials as directed by your line manager or supervisor, ensuring compliance with all relevant specifications.
• Record all daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in your site diary.
• Monitor and report on work progress, including subcontractor performance, to your manager.
• Proactively pursue your own professional development and training (e.g. completing the work-based development programme in a timely manner).
• Conduct your work in a safe and responsible manner, correcting and reporting unsafe behaviour where necessary.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel on site.
• Monitor and check the calibration and accuracy of setting-out instruments and testing equipment.
• Maximise efficiency and profitability through attention to detail, self-management, and by eliminating re-work.
• Follow directions and attend project and coordination meetings as required.

Who We’re Looking For

• A third-level qualification in Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in setting out or site engineering.
• Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, or surveying firm (preferred).
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and PowerPoint.
