Key Requirements:
The Planning Manager reports directly to the Group Technical Director. The Group Technical Director reports to the CEO of the business and represents the MEP, Planning, Digital Construction & Design functions in the business.
The Planning Manager is responsible for all aspects of planning in all regions which we operate. The planning department should have the appropriate staffing levels and liaise closely with the Group Technical Director in this regard.
As a member of the project management team, you have the opportunity to influence safety culture onsite by demonstrating personal commitment, setting clear expectations, and effectively communicating safety policies. By consistently modelling safe behaviour, prioritizing safety above productivity, and ensuring that all workers receive proper training and resources, you can foster an environment where safety is ingrained in every aspect of the construction process. Encouraging open communication, recognizing and rewarding safe behaviour, and conducting regular inspections further reinforce the importance of safety. By taking these steps, you can help create a culture where safety is a shared value and a top priority for all stakeholders involved in the project.
The Planning Manager is a Global role and covers all jurisdictions in which Collen Operate and will be based in our Headquarters in Dublin. Visits to our sites in Europe is encouraged 6 times a year to spend time with the regional planning managers/leads face to face. Presently we only have projects in Ireland, UK and Sweden but this may evolve as the company expands.
