As a Sales Manager, you will represent all yards within the Shiprepair & Conversion Group. You will be located at one of our repair yards, preferably in the south west of the Netherlands.
The main focus of this role will be the Greek market, which is particularly active in the LNG carrier, bulk carrier, tanker and container vessel segments. Responsibilities include actively developing relationships with potential or existing clients, as well as other stakeholders such as insurance/class societies, local government, and main suppliers. Communication with Fleet Directors and superintendents is essential, and frequent travel is expected.
You will work in an international environment, also outside regular workdays. In this role you take responsibility for the commercial content, timely submission of quotations and the follow up of quotations submitted by you to the client. Furthermore, cooperation is crucial in this role. You will work closely with the Commercial Managers and several departments within our individual yards, such as the estimating department and the marketing department concerning market developments. Reporting is directed to the Commercial Director of DS&C.
