Perform calculations and Orcaflex simulations for our cable installation analyses to develop installation methodologies and determine limiting criteria;
Be the key person in cooperation between other engineers, tender, project and operational teams to define installation methods and optimize offshore operations;
Take opportunities to go offshore and perform site visits and site inspections;
Develop appropriate in-house tools and guidelines;
Support the wider business of DEME from the specialist engineering function using Orcaflex;
Take the responsibility towards organization of the engineering tasks and accurately monitor the progress of projects.
Your profile:
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant engineering discipline;
relevant experience with Naval architect subjects as vessel hydrodynamic, mooring, vessel stability and DP will be beneficial;
strong analytical skills with a critical view towards the tasks to be carried out;
flexible, proactive, result driven and adaptable;
fluent in verbal and written English
