Our expertise has been continuously enriched by the lessons learned from 70 years of operations in the nuclear sector, through innovative and complex projects shaping the renewal of the nuclear industry.

The Warsaw nuclear team was established almost 10 years ago to work initially on export projects (UK, France) and more recently on Polish NPPs and SMR projects.

The Egis Group and the Nuclear Service Line are significantly increasing their footprint in both the Polish and international markets, exploring new countries, clients, and services.

About the Role

Key Role

The Nuclear Project Manager participates in the development of the Nuclear Service Line on the Polish market by:

• Supporting business development of our Nuclear Service Line
• Leading the preparation of commercial offers for nuclear projects
• Managing projects related to nuclear energy

The Nuclear Project Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of nuclear projects and offers produced in a Polish or international context, involving multiple entities of the Group.
They will also manage the nuclear project teams based in Poland.

Role in Business Development

• Contribute to business development through meetings with potential clients and participation in fairs and conferences
• Identify business opportunities and strategic partnerships
• Proactively engage with potential nuclear clients to understand their technical needs and propose tailored services

Role in Commercial Offers Preparation

• Lead the preparation of commercial offers for the Polish and international nuclear market
• Identify and address client-specific needs in cooperation with the business development team and nuclear management
• Identify the technical competencies required for each offer and engage stakeholders to secure necessary resources
• Evaluate and control the budget and schedule required to deliver projects in line with tender specifications
• Lead and coordinate proposals involving technical teams, the tender unit, financial and legal departments across Polish and international Egis entities
• Ensure that appropriate nuclear safety requirements are implemented within each offer
• Take ownership of and ensure the overall coherence of each offer, both technically and financially

Role in Managing and Delivering Projects

• Ensure the initiation phase of each project
• Develop project management and quality plans
• Mobilize the project team
• Prepare internal and external agreements to support project delivery
• Define performance tasks required by the Performance Management System
• Execute and monitor projects in accordance with the project management system
• Ensure project delivery meets quality, cost, and schedule objectives
• Manage project risks and delivery teams
• Implement and maintain nuclear safety requirements, fostering a strong quality assurance and safety culture within teams
• Manage project changes and evolutions effectively
• Maintain financial performance indicators (turnover, profitability, cash flow)
• Manage contractual relationships with clients

Project Closure

• Close the contract from technical, legal, and financial perspectives
• Capture and share lessons learned to benefit future offers and projects within the Nuclear Service Line

Nuclear SL Policy Implementation

• Compliance: Oversee adherence to nuclear regulations and standards, ensuring regulatory compliance in all engineering activities
• Nuclear Safety Culture: Promote and sustain a robust nuclear safety culture within the engineering team
• Knowledge Capitalization: Collect and share lessons learned from offers and projects to strengthen organizational expertise

What Do We Need From You

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• English language proficiency required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector
