Reporting line:

• to the GSI NSE Commercial and Tendering Leader

The GSI NSE SER Segment Leader is responsible for:

• ensuring the NSE Region secures a significant share of the SER market
• coordinating closely with:
  • GSI Sales & Tendering teams
  • GSI NSE Service Leader
  • Marketing teams
  • Global Account Managers

Commercial responsibility for GSI Services activities in the NSE region includes:

• Orders Intake (O/I)
• Services strategy, growth, and business development
• Development of the Services portfolio, including:
  • a strong customer-facing component
• Close coordination with the NSE Services Leader, including:
  • a strong focus on Installed Base opportunities

Strategic contribution of the role:

• defining GSI NSE Region positioning in the SER market
• contributing to SER pipeline creation and management
• accountability for:
  • developing customer intimacy with regional Key Accounts
  • participating in critical negotiations
  • ensuring commercial feedback and knowledge sharing across the Region and GSI BL

Essential Responsibilities

1. Strategic Positioning (GSI NSE Region)

In coordination with:

• GSI SER Segment Leader
• GSI NSE Service Leader

Key activities:

• continuous collection of market intelligence
• interaction with stakeholders, including:
  • GE businesses (e.g., Offshore Wind, HVDC, FACTS, ACS)
  • customers
  • macroeconomic stakeholders

Outcome:

• a comprehensive and structured understanding of the SER market, including:
  • segmentation
  • volume
  • trends

Based on this knowledge:

• contribute to defining vision and strategy, including:
  • maximizing profitable growth
  • influencing market and customer trends
  • proposing innovative/disruptive business models
  • leveraging reference solutions to increase GE value

Support execution by:

• translating strategy into actionable commercial plans
• proactively contributing to:
  • Commercial Strategies for SER tenders

2. Services – Operational Responsibilities

• Manage Services opportunities in Salesforce, including:
  • strong pipeline governance
  • accurate forecasting
• Develop and manage:
  • Services Operating Plan
  • progress tracking and reporting
• Identify and drive:
  • Services growth initiatives

3. Customer Intimacy (Key Accounts)

• Develop strong relationships with Key Accounts across the region
• Build deep understanding of:
  • customer organizations
  • key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Coordinate closely with:
  • GSI NSE Commercial and Tendering Leader
  • GSI SER Segment Leader

4. SER Pipeline Creation & Management

Support:

• GSI NSE Commercial and Tendering Leader
• GSI NSE Service Leader

Key responsibilities:

• pipeline identification and management
• demand creation
• early-stage customer engagement

Accountabilities:

• handling Requests for Information (RFI)
• collaborating with NSE functions for:
  • demand shaping
  • business development

Support prioritization based on:

• probability of winning
• likelihood of materialization
• alignment with reference solutions
• profitability
• cash impact
• risk profile

Ensure pipeline alignment with:

• defined strategy
• budget
• quarterly forecasts

5. Code of Ethics, EHS, and Processes

Ensure compliance with:

• Grid Solutions Sales & Tendering processes
• Delegation of Authority
• GE Code of Ethics
• EHS requirements

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
• Significant experience in:
  • commercial
  • sales
  • marketing functions
• Proven experience in:
  • large, complex technical B2B sales
  • international environments
• Preferred:
  • experience in the Energy & Industry sector
