Opis stanowiska

As an Innovation Engineer, your main focus will be on organizing and executing a variety of innovation projects, while supporting operational departments in adopting innovative approaches for the execution of our survey projects.

You will contribute to the GEOxyz 2.0 Roadmap, which includes (but is not limited to):

• Remote processing for offshore vessels (processors working from shore).
• The use of USVs, AUVs, and UAVs in projects.
• Automation in data processing through scripting and AI-driven solutions (smart data).
• Enhancing connectivity between vessels and shore-based systems.
• Developing new activities and services aligned with emerging market opportunities.
• Sensor integration into USV platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, executing, and reporting on innovation projects.
• Writing procedures, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Performing technical (survey-related) tasks as part of project execution.
• Maintaining contact and following up with partners, subcontractors, providers, and field teams.
• Setting up proof-of-concept projects to evaluate and validate innovative ideas within the GEOxyz 2.0 Roadmap.
• Reporting directly to the Program Manager.

What do we expect from you?

• A master’s degree in engineering, (geo)physics, hydrography, or a related field.
• A strong interest in innovation within the marine and offshore environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in an engineering or survey-related role.
• Experience with Python is considered an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• A structured approach to work and proficiency with Microsoft 365.
