As a Technical Superintendent (TSI), you are responsible for the overall management and technical operations of the fleet, ensuring that all vessels remain in optimal technical condition and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis regarding all executed works, scheduled maintenance, and planned repairs for the upcoming period.
• Ensuring that assigned vessels are fully operational or managed in accordance with the relevant management agreements.
• Attending vessel dry dockings, repairs, and surveys as required, and determining detailed repair specifications.
• Preparing comprehensive reports upon completion of dry docking, including summaries of performed works, operational budgets, and actual expenditures.
• Identifying and sourcing technical and operational supplies for vessels, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
• Supporting the Marine Superintendent in maintaining, documenting, and storing all statutory, SOLAS, and equipment certificates (e.g., life rafts, compasses) within applicable systems.
• Providing technical assistance and advice to vessels both in home ports and overseas.
• Performing monthly reviews of logs and processes, supported by regular onboard visits and the use of digital applications.
• Monitoring the technical status of vessels in relation to class certification and surveys.
• Supervising contractors during vessel repair and maintenance activities.
• Conducting technical compliance audits and investigating defects or failures on a regular basis to ensure conformance with standards.
• Collaborating closely with the Marine Superintendent and HSE team to ensure effective implementation of QHSE systems and policies across all vessels.
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance with recommended codes, guidelines, and standards in line with the company’s Quality & Safety Management systems.
• Ensuring vessel compliance with the ISM Code within your area of responsibility.
• Leading by example and promoting proper HSE behavior and best practices.

What do we expect from you?

• A degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience with Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS).
• Willingness to travel as required for vessel interventions.
• A valid driving license.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• A flexible and proactive work attitude.
