As an Electrical Technician, you will play a vital role in assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components for our unmanned surface vessels (USVs). Your work ensures the reliable and safe operation of these advanced maritime platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components on unmanned surface vessels (USVs).
• Diagnosing electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to guarantee system reliability and safety.
• Collaborating with engineers and fellow technicians to design and implement electrical system upgrades and modifications.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations for marine electrical systems.
• Assisting in the integration of new technologies and components into existing USV platforms.
• Interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to support efficient troubleshooting and repair.
• Documenting all maintenance, inspection, and repair activities accurately.
• Participating in field deployments and sea trials as required, contributing to the advancement and testing of our systems.

What do we expect from you?

• An associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Marine Technology, or a related field (a bachelor’s degree is preferred).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical technician, preferably in the maritime or defense industries.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools and software.
• Familiarity with marine electrical standards and regulations (e.g., ABS, DNV, IEC).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to work effectively both in workshops and aboard vessels, including at sea.
• Willingness to travel for field deployments and sea trials.
