Responsible for execution and supervision of high-voltage testing activities prior to energization of export cables, inter-array systems and offshore substations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform HV testing (VLF, Tan Delta, Partial Discharge, sheath testing)
Supervise pre-commissioning testing of GIS, transformers and switchgear
Prepare test procedures and method statements
Fault location and diagnostics
Support cable energization readiness
Produce detailed test reports and documentation
Interface with SAP and commissioning teams
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of HV testing experience (66kV–220kV minimum)
Experience in offshore wind projects preferred
Strong knowledge of cable insulation systems (XLPE etc.)
Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, BAUR or similar)
