Role Overview 

Responsible for execution and supervision of high-voltage testing activities prior to energization of export cables, inter-array systems and offshore substations. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform HV testing (VLF, Tan Delta, Partial Discharge, sheath testing) 

• Supervise pre-commissioning testing of GIS, transformers and switchgear 

• Prepare test procedures and method statements 

• Fault location and diagnostics 

• Support cable energization readiness 

• Produce detailed test reports and documentation 

• Interface with SAP and commissioning teams 

Requirements 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 

• 5+ years of HV testing experience (66kV–220kV minimum) 

• Experience in offshore wind projects preferred 

• Strong knowledge of cable insulation systems (XLPE etc.) 

• Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, BAUR or similar) 

• Understanding of grid compliance requirements 

• Offshore certification (GWO / MEDICAL) 

• Fluent English  

• Polish is an advantage
