Protection & Control Engineer (HV Systems)

🧾 Responsibilities:

• Review and validate protection schemes for HV/MV systems
• Verify configuration and settings of protection relays
• Oversee testing and commissioning of protection systems
• Witness tests using tools such as OMICRON or equivalent
• Analyse system performance and ensure correct protection coordination
• Support energisation and ensure compliance with grid requirements
• Coordinate with SCADA, telecom and commissioning teams
• Review technical documentation and test reports

🎯 Requirements:

• Experience in protection & control systems (HV/MV)
• Strong knowledge of protection principles (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.)
• Familiarity with testing methods and tools (e.g. OMICRON)
• Experience in reviewing contractor deliverables
• Understanding of grid codes and standards
• Very good English
