As an ESG Reporting Specialist at Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC), you will take center stage in shaping the future of sustainability reporting within our organization.

Using the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) as your framework, you will lead the strengthening of Heerema’s CSRD Implementation Program, ensuring the company not only meets regulatory obligations for the 2027 reporting year and beyond but also sets an industry benchmark. You will drive key workstreams from sustainability reporting and software optimization to business transformation, creating a clear, structured, and compliant approach that supports transparent, auditable, and future-ready sustainability reports. Your expertise will directly support Heerema’s long-term commitment to responsible and sustainable offshore operations.

What you will be working on

• CSRD Reporting: Develop and maintain a reliable, auditable, and cutting-edge sustainability reporting process
• Workstreams Initiation: Shape initiatives spanning business change implementation, value chain mapping, sustainability software optimization, and control environment development
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure all sustainability initiatives align with Heerema’s ambitions and full CSRD compliance
• Trusted Advisor: Act as the internal expert on ESG requirements and best practices for successful implementation

Key ingredients for success

• 2–3 years of program management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• University degree with strong knowledge of CSRD, ESG reporting, and relevant ISO standards
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ESG reporting software is a plus
• Fluency in English
