Bid Engineer – Nuclear Services

Location: Bilbao

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

IDOM is seeking a Bid Engineer to join our Nuclear Services team in Bilbao. You will play a key role in preparing and managing bids for national and international projects, ensuring competitive, high-quality proposals that meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and management of public and private tenders.
• Analyze specifications and requirements, size and select project teams, and contribute to economic estimations.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver proposals on time.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes.

ABOUT YOU

You should apply if you:

• Hold a degree in Industrial Engineering or a Double Degree in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering. A Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus.
• Have 2–4 years of experience in bid preparation and management, preferably in industrial or energy infrastructure projects; experience in the Nuclear sector is a strong advantage.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), PowerBI, and SharePoint.
• Are highly motivated, organized, commercially oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Have strong teamwork and communication skills, technical rigor, and the ability to work independently with innovation.
• Have an advanced level of English.
