Cross-functional Solutions Architect – Digital Transformation

We are looking for a Cross-functional Solutions Architect to join our Digital Transformation team in our offices in Bilbao. This role will specialize in the design and implementation of MES, SCADA, HMI, and IIoT architectures, with experience in OT/IT systems integration, ERP layers, and industrial control systems.

Main responsibilities:

• Define the technical and functional architecture of industrial solutions
• Ensure scalability, high availability, and cybersecurity
• Lead integrations between OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology) systems
• Coordinate with development, operations, and business teams
• Select technologies and standards (ISA-95, OPC UA, MQTT, etc.)

About you

Don’t hesitate to apply if you:

• Are a professional in Industrial Engineering or related fields
• Have experience with MES platforms (Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Wonderware, etc.)
• Are proficient in SCADA/HMI systems (Ignition, WinCC, Aveva)
• Are familiar with industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT)
• Have experience with IIoT and Edge Computing
• Have experience integrating with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and databases
• Have strong teamwork skills and technical rigor
• Have advanced English skills
