Requirements Expert – Rail & Transit
We are looking for a Requirements Expert to join the Rail & Transit team in our offices in Madrid, Bilbao, or Barcelona.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Leading the production of Verification and Validation Matrices (VVMs) to support technical design assurance

Ensuring that the requirements management approach aligns with project standards and contractual obligations

Reporting to and liaising with project teams and subcontractors regarding requirements management processes during design, construction, and delivery phases

Developing, configuring, and managing the requirements management database
-
Driving innovation in the requirements management approach

Facilitating tracking and regular reporting on the performance of the requirements management process

Supporting other disciplines in their interactions with the DOORS database or similar tools

About you
Apply if you:

Hold a degree related to Civil, Industrial, or Systems Engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics

Have at least 2 years of experience on large infrastructure projects, especially in civil or railway engineering, and in the use of DOORS, JAMA, or similar requirements management tools

Have strong communication and collaboration skills

Are capable of working effectively with project delivery teams and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
-
Are familiar with industry standards and best practices in requirements management
-
Have fluent English (minimum B2/C1, spoken and written; other languages will be valued)
-
Have strong analytical skills and are proficient in report writing
-
Are familiar with tools for designing participatory and communication processes (desirable)
-
Demonstrate autonomy, flexibility, technical rigor, and an international mindset
