Technical Director – Industrial Solutions Development (Ignition)

We are looking to hire a Technical Director for Industrial Solutions Development – Ignition in the Digital Transformation department at our offices in Bilbao or Madrid.

Your main duties will include:

• Developing technical solutions based on functional requirements
• Coordinating and leading the development team
• Reviewing and approving code
• Collaborating with the solutions architect
• Interacting with the project manager
• Technical management of the project
• Ensuring technical quality assurance
• Promoting innovation and continuous improvement
• Supervising technical documentation
• Training and developing the team

About you

Do not hesitate to apply if you:

• Have studied Computer Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Automation, or similar
• Have at least 5 years of experience in industrial software development and/or at least 2 years in technical leadership
• Have experience with agile and traditional methodologies and are proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA
• Have advanced knowledge of Git and CI/CD
• Have experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (desirable)
• Are proficient in Ignition Designer, Perspective, and Vision (desirable)
• Have knowledge of Python (Jython), OPC UA, and MQTT
• Have experience integrating with databases and external systems
• Demonstrate teamwork skills and strong technical rigor
• Have an advanced level of English
