Job Description

As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in defining and supporting a profitable growth strategy for Loma’s product lines. With a growth mindset, you will help drive development activities and decisions that launch new products to market. The role leverages a first-hand understanding of the market and technology, customer needs, product value propositions, and expertise in the relevant product line to help Loma achieve technological and commercial advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Innovation Director to set the vision and strategy for Loma’s portfolio of products and take responsibility for their success.
• Analyse and translate market, trend, business and competitive intelligence. Build strong end-user intimacy to gain insights, identify pain points, and gather interview data to develop business cases that support time, resource and financial investment.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with strategic priorities, and produce high-level product requirements, iterating as necessary.
• Collaborate with all team members and provide the necessary leadership to deliver a stream of customer-backed innovations to market.
• Create and champion the go-to-market strategy for assigned products, including positioning, pricing, and value proposition materials.
• Understand, develop, and communicate Loma’s value propositions to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a clear and consistent understanding across all teams.
• Act as a product evangelist, driving product launches, training, and sales support, and collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement marketing programs throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Collaborate with all R&D functions, Engineering Teams, Sales, Marketing, Management, Product Support, Stakeholders, and other departments to ensure the successful realisation of all new products.

Essential

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, marketing, or scientific discipline.
• Demonstrable marketing or commercial experience within a comparable environment (food equipment, capital equipment, instrumentation, machinery, etc.) with a physical product.
• Experience in primary and secondary research methods, including voice of the customer and/or opportunity evaluation.
• Proven track record of developing value proposition materials and experience working closely with marketing and sales to deliver messages to end users.
• Hands-on approach with strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to drive results.
• Global mindset with cultural awareness and the ability to build constructive and effective relationships across the organisation.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and other modern software tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
