Meet our Client

A private investment company, with a portfolio of 300 MW Ready-to-Build (RtB) projects: 220 MW in high voltage (HV) and 80 MW in medium voltage (MV). With a promising project pipeline for several years, we are seeking a hands-on senior manager to lead the execution of renewable investments on the investor’s side

Position: Construction Director

Place of work: Western Poland

Position Objective: Effective management of the project portfolio. The Construction Director is a critical role in the organization, reporting to the Country Director and Group Head of Engineering. This position involves managing a substantial portfolio of photovoltaic (PV) projects.

Reports to: Country Director

Collaborates with: Group Head of Engineering, CFO, Owner, and Country Manager

Direct Reports: 3 Project Managers (holding construction licenses), Site Managers (subcontractors), 2-3 contractors/external supervisors (inspection supervisors)

Location: The Majority of projects are located between Wrocław, Poznań, Warsaw.

Key responsibilities

• include:Collaboration with Contracting Managers: Provide expertise in preparing optimal pricing for construction work and material procurement.
• Project Oversight: Prepare and execute projects through Project Managers and ensure effective risk management.
• Technical Advisory: Offer guidance to the team in resolving on-site technical challenges.
• Active Construction Participation: Participate actively in the construction process, conducting regular site visits.
• Representation: Act as the company’s representative in dealings with contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Comprehensive Execution

Responsibility: Take full responsibility for all aspects related to the 300 MW PV project portfolio.

Key Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-technical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale photovoltaic farms, particularly HV projects.
• Licensing: Electrical installation licences are beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project.
• Language Skills: English at B2 level or higher.

• Majority of projects are between Wrocław, Warsaw, Poznań
• Portfolio is both MV and HV PV Projects
