What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll work alongside experienced designers and technical specialists, contributing to projects that span the full lifecycle—from concept to completion. Your responsibilities may include: 

• Design delivery: Assist in the creation of high-quality conceptual, detailed, and technical designs for landscape and urban spaces.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration: Support integrated teams across water, transport, energy, and environmental sectors.
• Technical outputs: Produce drawings, presentation materials, specifications, schedules, and photomontages.
• Site and environmental work: Undertake site surveys and contribute to environmental assessments and improvement schemes.
• Digital design: Provide AutoCAD, Revit, and graphic support to enhance project delivery.
• Quality and innovation: Deliver work to high standards in line with our Quality Management Procedures.
• Professional development: Engage with Mott MacDonald’s Early Careers Professionals Network and attend development events.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one, in one of the following degree disciplines:

• Landscape Design
• Landscape Architecture

In your application, you should aim to demonstrate your genuine interest in both the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald. You can do this by highlighting any relevant experience or interests – such as modules you’ve studied, previous work experience, or any research you’ve undertaken about our company, values, and projects.

Mott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. This decision is as a consequence of the changes made to the Skilled Worker route by the UK Government in April 2024.
