    As Australia develops a sovereign naval nuclear capability, we are seeking expressions of interest from聽experienced UK Nuclear Safety professionals聽interested in relocating to Australia and contributing to one of the most significant nuclear programmes in the world.

    Your Opportunity

    Whether you are a Nuclear Safety Case Engineer, Senior Safety Case Engineer, Principal Safety Case聽Engineer聽or Technical Lead, this is a unique opportunity to apply your聽expertise聽to a nation-building programme while continuing to develop your career within a globally recognised nuclear business.

    • Develop and deliver complex nuclear safety cases and safety assessments.
    • Support safety substantiation, engineering聽justification聽and hazard management activities.

    • Work alongside multidisciplinary engineering,聽design聽and programme delivery teams.

    Whether your background is in safety case development, safety assessment, engineering substantiation, nuclear assurance, regulatory聽support聽or hazard management,聽you’ll聽have the opportunity to apply your聽expertise聽to programmes helping聽establish聽Australia’s future naval nuclear capability.

    About You聽

    We are interested in hearing from professionals at all levels who bring:

    • A degree in engineering, physics,聽mathematics聽or another STEM discipline, or a have completed a聽relevant industrial apprenticeship.
    • Experience delivering nuclear safety case, safety聽assessment聽or safety assurance activities.
    • Experience within defence nuclear, civil nuclear or other highly regulated industries.
    • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
    • A commitment to technical excellence and continuous learning.
    • Chartered Engineer status or progress towards chartership.

    Most importantly, you will be motivated by the opportunity to help establish a new sovereign nuclear capability and leave a lasting legacy for Australia’s future nuclear industry.

    Due to the nature of our defence projects, successful applicants will聽be required聽to obtain and聽maintain聽an appropriate security聽clearance (Australian NV1 or UK SC/DV equivalent). We will support suitable candidates through the clearance process where聽required.
