Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ERP professional to lead the technical delivery of our enterprise ERP programme. In this role, you will ensure that solutions are designed, built, tested, and deployed in line with business objectives and clearly defined, integrated requirements.

You will play a key role in the hands-on delivery of the solution across Finance, Human Resources, Operations, and Business Development. Acting as a bridge between functional and technical teams, you will manage solution coordination, planning and scheduling, delivery, constraints, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.

With a proactive, delivery-focused mindset, you will drive alignment across all functional and technical workstreams, including solution architecture and technical governance.

This is a hybrid role based in either our Cork or Dublin office.

Responsibilities

1. ERP Technical Project Management

• Lead hands-on project management, governance, and reporting for technical delivery across the full project lifecycle
• Ensure alignment of the integrated programme plan, including scope, schedule, dependencies, and deliverables
• Drive coordination across requirements definition, design, build, testing, data, integrations, and technical/functional workstreams
• Monitor and manage project resourcing across internal teams and external delivery partners

2. ERP Technical Governance

• Establish and drive governance frameworks for daily ERP project oversight
• Manage solution validation checkpoints, decision-making processes, dependencies, and risk management
• Lead technical governance forums (e.g. Design Review Authority) and enforce design principles and key decisions
• Promote best practices across configuration, testing, integrations, environment strategy, release planning, and change control

3. Solution Architecture

• Provide guidance on overall ERP solution architecture (functional, technical, and integration)
• Lead cross-functional reviews and technical architecture sessions to ensure alignment

4. Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage day-to-day relationships with ERP vendors, implementation partners, and third-party technical teams
• Coordinate across internal technical teams, external vendors, and system integrators
• Review and validate vendor deliverables, SLA alignment, and technical documentation

5. ERP Cutover Management

• Review and validate the overall cutover strategy, governance model, and go-live approach
• Validate detailed cutover plans and runbooks, including technical, business, data migration, and readiness activities
• Ensure clear entry/exit criteria, critical path alignment, and success metrics
• Monitor business readiness and track delivery progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional ERP certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Application Associate) are an advantage
• 10+ years of experience in ERP programme or project management, including leadership roles
• Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
• Proven experience managing full ERP project lifecycles, including planning, dependencies, timelines, and resourcing
• Strong experience managing system integrators and ERP delivery partners
• Solid understanding of ERP risk management practices
• Familiarity with cloud-based ERP platforms and digital transformation initiatives
