Your new role:
As our new Project Manager (PM) in the CCGT team, you will join a global group of specialists working across the energy value chain. You will lead complex infrastructure projects that integrate gas and steam turbine technologies, supporting utilities, developers, and investors to deliver reliable and efficient power generation assets aligned with climate goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Project Leadership:
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases: from feasibility to commissioning and handover.
Manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC/EPCM) activities with a strong focus on technical excellence and sustainability.
Interface with key stakeholders – including OEMs, contractors, and public authorities – ensuring smooth collaboration and regulatory compliance.
Oversee site organization and ensure delivery, testing, and commissioning meet top-tier standards.
Technical Excellence & Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with HSE, environmental, and quality standards across all project stages.
Monitor on-site activities and guarantee alignment with documentation, timelines, and agreed work plans.
Guide QA/QC processes and enforce safety protocols in alignment with current legislation and industry best practices.
Financial & Contractual Oversight:
Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and contractual obligations to ensure successful delivery.
Coordinate financial documentation, including payment requests, reimbursement claims, and reports for Contracting Authorities.
Ensure compliance with funding frameworks (e.g., EU/public funding) and support audit and control processes.
Your Profile:
You are a strategic thinker and seasoned leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments. You combine technical expertise with financial and stakeholder savvy.
We’re looking for someone with:
A university degree in engineering, energy, construction, or a related field (BSc or MSc).
10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a Project Manager or Deputy PM role in large-scale energy projects.
Hands-on experience managing EPC/EPCM projects – ideally in CCGT, combined heat and power, or similar energy infrastructure.
Strong understanding of financing contracts, construction stage management, and public/EU funding frameworks.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills in interdisciplinary environments.
Full professional proficiency in English; German or a local language is a strong asset.
Willingness to travel for site supervision and partner engagement.
