Engineer Technical – Equipment

Opis stanowiska

What will you be doing?

  • Attends and participates in project preparation meetings.
  • Advises the project on the correct use of the project equipment.
  • Can modify equipment on project demand, arranging/implementing the required maintenance.
  • Advises on technical modifications to project and vessel crew.
  • Manages technical modifications.
  • Attends equipment (FAT) tests at manufacturer premises.
  • High level of budget awareness.
  • Contributing role in safety within our company and on work sites.
  • First point of contact for vessel crew and Project Manager in case of equipment breakdowns.
  • Willing to travel and work outside normal office hours.

 

What experience would we like you to have?

  • MTS / Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject. Ship engineering beneficial but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Works well with minimum supervision, showing high levels of initiative.
  • Demonstrates good decision-making skills and responds appropriately to problems/issues.
  • Is oriented towards mitigating risk and demonstrates effective forward planning.
  • Delivers in a time-sensitive setting, able to respond to the changing needs of business and competing deadlines.
  • Solutions based with effective planning and organisation skills, approaches tasks in a structural and methodical manner.
