We are looking for Head of Global Account Excellence

A Snapshot of Your Day

You start your day with a stand-up with the Account Excellence team to align current initiatives and actions. Throughout the day, you will:

• Engage with Key Account Managers, discussing the most important customer KPIs and strategic direction.
• Join a strategic session with regional BA Sales Leads to prepare for upcoming account reviews and agree on improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Digital core teams to evaluate new AI agents that will enhance account reporting efficiency.
• Discuss new approaches to improve training and capability-building programs for the sales force.
• Facilitate a best-practice workshop for Key Account Managers, ensuring alignment with the Account Management Framework and collaboration with the BAs.
• Brief senior management on insights from customer feedback, align on planned executive bilaterals, and propose measures to strengthen partnership strategies.

How You’ll Make an Impact Head of Global Account Excellence

• Shape and govern Siemens Energy’s global Account Management Framework as Core process owner, ensuring excellence across all regions and Business Areas.
• Drive the implementation of the Account Management framework for Europe, functionally leading the Key Account Managers in Hub Europe.
• Lead the Account Management Excellence team, promoting the community, tools, data, standardization, and adoption of best practices.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics to track execution quality and customer engagement.
• Develop and roll out training and capability-building programs to uplift sales and account management standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership, influencing strategy and driving customer-centric transformation globally.
• Foster digital enablement by integrating tools, AI Agents, and data-driven insights into the account planning process.

What You Bring

• Demonstrating outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, with a versatile, creative, agile, and hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
• More than 5 years of direct experience in Sales or Business Development within the energy, oil & gas, chemical, or other industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of the energy landscape in Europe.
• Skilled in developing actionable concepts for strategic customer development.
• Experience in Account Management is an advantage.
• Strategic thinking with a conceptual mindset, complemented by a practical, hands-on attitude.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German or another European language is a plus.
