To carry out engineering critical assessments (ECA) of subsea pipelines, ensuring accordance with the industry codes and standards, and client’s specifications.
Job Description
Carrying out ECA tasks and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of deliverables
Provide ECA support to concept studies, tendering, and projects
Performing checking of analysis work of peer ECA analysts
Clearly communicating with internal and external stakeholders via technical reports and presentations
Developing and standardizing engineering tools and methods
You are meant for this job if:
Degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline
Sound knowledge of fracture mechanics. Expertise in understanding and analyzing crack propagation
Knowledge of material properties, including tensile strength, toughness, and resistance to environmental degradation
Experience as a ECA engineer with a documented history of fracture and fatigue assessment of welded structures
Proficiency in industry tools and software for fracture and fatigue assessment
Deep understanding of engineering principles, materials science, fracture mechanics,
Familiarity with industry integrity assessment codes
Proven ability to address and solve challenging technical engineering problems
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly
Openness and honesty about progress and challenges
